Cherry Hill African American Civic Association

The Cherry Hill African American Civic Association (CHAACA) is a nonpartisan, 501(c)3 organization that promotes community engagement in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Serving the community since 1978, CHAACA provides a platform to discuss and confront issues that concern our African American youth and families.

We promote multicultural educational programs such as our Authors & Artists initiative, provide various college scholarships, partner with local organizations driving positive change, produce our annual Juneteenth Parade & Festival and remain steadfast in advocating for diversity in key community positions such as police officers, fire personnel and educators.
