Taking Time For Yourself Helps Others

Today, more than ever we need to nurture ourselves with regular time out to replenish our resources, calm anxiety, nurture our creativity and even benefit those around us.

Welcome to Watercolours and Yogic Breathwork at Brigit's Garden.

The time to relax is when you don't have time for it!

Treat yourself to a profoundly relaxing day of connecting with nature, yourself, your creativity and like-minded fellow participants...... Take care of your own wellness and creativity for a change.

We need to nurture ourselves to give ourselves the physical and mental energy to face the challenges that arise before us day-to-day. Sadly, this is often a need that we tend to overlook or put off until we can find the 'right time'.

Connect and Create.............Let the magic of Brigit's Garden be your gentle reminder to not only be aware of and connect with the beauty that exists in the world, but to recreate it yourself..... Immerse yourself in these serene surroundings as you explore the connection between art and gentle yogic breathing, meditation, aromatherapy and movement.

Choose to make your own time slow down in this busy world and allow yourself to be inspired.

Enjoy:

  • Inspirational nature walks and walking meditations
  • Learning simple watercolour techniques and lessons in the bright, cosy and spacious 'Hazel Room'.
  • Learn to 'Paint in Your Present' without thinking about the outcome or end result to truly explore your own unique creativity.
  • The process of blending painting, mediation, breathwork and movement.
  • Guided meditations
  • Yogic breath work & gentle movement (Sitting, standing or on your mat - whatever you prefer).
  • Aromatherapy - d'Ottera organic top grade essential oils
  • A delicious lunch from Brigit's Garden's award-winning menu
  • All workshop materials and all-day refreshments
  • Full enjoyment of Brigit's Garden

Your day is designed to have you fully relaxed, revived, 'in-joy' and floating home at the end of your workshop.

Take home your artworks unique to you as well as full instructions and basic tools to continue your blend of relaxation and creativity practices easily after your workshop.

This workshop is not about 'painting a picture', it's about exploring paint for it's own sake and learning your own creative voice within that processs.

This is your opportunity to have the most fun, relax and feel good about indulging yourself.

It’s important to take time out so that we can nurture ourselves and let ourselves be creative.

This in-person event is perfect for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and tap into their creative side. No experience of either art or yoga is necessary and it's perfect for all body shapes, sizes and fitness levels.

So why not make Sunday 29th September your date with yourself to take some precious time out for you? Get away from your phone and the responsibilities and hustle and bustle of day-to-day life.

It's just a day after all... Go on.... Treat yourself!

'What a really beautiful day I had on this workshop. I landed home, snuggled up in a chair and slept like a baby for hours…heart blown open by the wonderful ease and flow of the day. Thank you so much Denise for providing a magical space for someone who seriously needs to climb out of her own attic more and play on the floor like she used to a long time ago! Your facilitation, gentle nudging and enthusiasm combined with your own unique weave of art and awareness opened a space for me that reminded me that as creatures walking this earth we were born to create … what else would we be doing!

Thank you for that. Looking forward to your next workshop.' - M. Ní Bhríain, Co. Galway.
