About this event

This workshop is designed to introduce beginners to watercolour painting with a focus on abstract and expressive mark making. Participants will explore a variety of mark-making techniques, freeing themselves from the pressure of detailed representation. Instead of focusing on creating landscapes or portraits, attendees will experiment with colour, texture, and form, producing small abstract pieces by the end of the session. The aim is to make watercolour painting feel accessible, fun - after all, watercolours really are the perfect medium for expression! All materials are included in the workshop, so just bring your lovely self.

The workshop will take place upstairs in Project 29 gift store. Do note that this upstairs space is only accessible by stairs. The eircode for Project 29 is D07 HDT0, right in the heart of Stoneybatter.
