St James’s Hospital HSCP Transition year information event – 2025
This is a ticket to attend our two-hour in person event virtually where there will be presentations from the professions listed below;
· Social Work
· Speech & Language
· Clinical Nutrition
· Occupational Therapy
· Physiotherapy
These presentations will provide information to Transition year students regarding; what “a day in the life” looks like, career progression, salary, annual leave and information regarding useful subjects to study in school if interested in pursuing a Third Level education course. There will be light refreshments mid-event and time to ask questions and speak to the clinicians after the presentations. Please note, there will be no access or visitation permitted to the hospital wards as part of this event. It is an information event only.
**Please note for insurance purposes, students attending must have a named adult in attendance. Multiple students can have the same named adult ie. teacher/parent bringing a class/group. Everyone attending must have a ticket**
Date: Wednesday 21st May 2025
Location: Robert William Smith Lecture Theatre, Trinity Centre for Health Sciences building on St. James’s Hospital campus.
Time: 1pm – 3pm
