The Mia Byrne Quintet

The Mia Byrne Quintet play music from the great composers Joe Henderson, Thelonious Monk and Bud Powell, with Mia Byrne on tenor sax, Sidney Edge on guitar, Irvinas Karkauskas on Piano, Maciej Bliziński on Bass and Darragh Groome on Drums.

Over the past few months the group has been exploring the music of many artists, in particular the music of Henderson, Monk and Powell. The set will feature some of their favourite tunes from each.
