The Art of Loss screening

This is a unique interspecies meditation on bereavement. Filmmaker and playwright Carmel Winters joins their dog pack to reimagine the deaths of their mother and dog, not as endings, but as new ways of seeing and being together beyond death. Filmed daily over three years, this footage was distilled into a 27-minute journey through liminal time, where eternity passes through the present. This queer, quirky family uses performance, playwriting, and film to explore loss with both meaning and humour.
