Tai Chi is a soft, relaxed, flowing series of movements utilising muscles, bones and joints to increase our awareness of ourselves and those around us. Muscles generally tone and strengthen while balance and posture improve. However, the benefits are felt not only in the musculoskeletal system, a moderate amount of Tai Chi practice will invigorate from within and provide a powerful antidote to stress. In summary, the Tai Chi practitioner is more relaxed, refreshed and revitalised as well as more tolerant, self-confident and above all, happier.
