Come and trod the sod! Enjoy Get Ireland Walking Day on this lovely, looped 15km walk. Using a variety of tracks and trails we will hike through sheltered forests onto open mountain. Looping back through Glendalough we will pass Poulanass Waterfall on our return via Derrybawn to the car park at Laragh. As there are some uphill sections this walk will be strenuous in places.


Please bring waterproof walking shoes/boots, rain gear, hat , gloves and extra layers. Bring a packed lunch and a drink.


Pleae bring any medications required and in the case of any underlying medical condition please check with your doctor before registering.


There will be a toilet stop approx. halfway through the walk at the visitor centre in Glendalough with tea/coffee and light refreshments.

Participants in outdoor activities should take responsibility for their own actions and for their own safety.


Registration from 9.45am in the car park in Laragh.
