Santa at the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel

Santa and his bunch of Merry Elves are set to return to Kilkenny City this year in a Fabulous New Outdoor Location. Santa and his merry team are determined to pull out all the stops despite the odds to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience! This year we are presenting an all new Santa's Grotto in a safe Outdoor space at the Heart of Kilkenny City in the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel, with something for all ages young & old to enjoy.

Our main priority is the safety of our visitors and staff. Although this year’s event will be very different, the team has been busy designing a unique Santa Experience in line with Covid compliance but still delivering on the magic & wonder of Christmas. Every Family is given their own Individual Time Slot to Meet and Greet Santa.

Once you book online your designated Time and Date you will receive your contactless tickets. On the day in question you will arrive 5 mins before your designated Time and Check in with one of Santa’s Elves -There you will receive one of Santa’s spare Hats to decorate and put you name on!!!. After 10 mins you will then move onto Jakes Shack – Jake is one of the Reindeer Elves and he will tell you how he looks after the Reindeer – he may even let you make up some magic flying food. After that you will make your way thru the Christmas Trees to meet Santa outside his Log Cabin where you will be able to have a good Chat with him and if you’re really good (Which I reckon you all are) a small present.

After meeting Santa you and you’re family will make your way out of Jingle Town.

The little Bits you need to Know.

• Children under 12 months are free with other paying Family members but don't receive a present. If you want to bring a Child Under 12 months on their own you need to book 1 Children Admission.
• 2 Adults are allowed free with each Visit
• The Tour last 30 mins and is all Outdoors.
• Each Paying Child will receive a Hat, Reindeer food and a token Present.
• Teas/Coffees are available on Site.
• Mask's are mandatory along with Social Distancing.
• An optional Family Portrait is available at a cost.
• Selfies can be taken with Santa at a Distance.
