A fun and interactive learning session offering a comprehensive overview of LGBTQIA+ identity, terminology, and allyship, aimed specifically at those in positions of leadership, senior management and board members of arts organisations.
This will be a safe space for people to ask questions; learn how small changes in practice, policy, and approach can make a big difference for LGBTQIA+ colleagues, artists, and audiences.
In this session, the current landscape for LGBTQIA+ communities, artists, and art workers will be discussed, and how organisations and individuals can meaningfully support LGBTQIA+ inclusion and visibility will be explored.
This session is crucial for anyone who wants to lead confidently as an LGBTQIA+ ally or advocate in their work. Everyone can learn something here!
This will be an interactive session, with scenario work, discussion, and ample opportunities for Q&A.
