The Roscommon Community Challenge Run or Walk will take place on Friday, March 7th, 2025, at 8:00 pm. This year, all proceeds will go to the Roscommon Special Olympics Club and the Roscommon Community Sports Park.
For those looking to prepare for the event or kick-start the New Year with some fitness, a 8-week training programme will be available leading up to the 5K or 8K Event. The programme will be led by fully qualified instructors, under the supervision of Noel and the Roscommon Sports Partnership staff. This training is designed to prepare participants for the Main Event.
Event Details:
- Date: March 7th, 2025
- Entry Fee: €25 for adults, €10 for participants aged 12 and over
- Time: 8pm
- Registration: All participants must register and pay online via Eventbrite before the event.
Training Details:
- Start Date: January 6th, 2025, meeting every Monday and Wednesday night, twice a week for 8 weeks.
- Location: Community Sports Park, Lisnamult
- Fee: €30 for adults, €10 for participants aged 12 and over
- Time: 7pm each night
Please note that the training fee does not include entry to the main event.
After the run, participants are invited to enjoy tea and coffee at the Sports Park. This is a great opportunity to relax, chat, and reflect on the event.
