About this event

Both renowned instrumentalists, Jeff Denson (USA) and Romain Pilon (France) met 20 years ago at the Berklee College of Music. Back then, they engaged in numerous jam sessions, sharing a common taste for adventure and a love for jazz without preconceived ideas. Since then, they have each pursued brilliant careers on their respective sides of the Atlantic, recording numerous albums as leaders and collaborating with some of the greatest jazz musicians in the world: Lee Konitz, Joe Lovano, Ben Wendel, Mike Stern, Jeff Ballard, Brian Blade, and more.

After a remarkable first album composed together and around 60 concerts in the USA and Europe, they are coming to Ireland to present their new opus, "Finding Light."

The trio is completed by the fantastic drummer Fred Pasqua. He has been heard alongside Nelson Veras, Walter Smith, Logan Richardson, etc.

The music of this trio, interactive and generous, reflects the pleasure these musicians have in playing together
