Róisín Gartland- Design Week Open Studios

During Irish Design Week 2024, esteemed designer Róisín Gartland will host an exhibition in her studio, where visitors can explore her costume collections, discover the inspiration and imagery behind each collection, and view one-of-a-kind creative pieces alongside current works in progress.

In addition to viewing the collections and working studio Róisin will present an opportunity to stimulate visitors imaginations with an array of small pre-cut shapes in various types of leather: Small take-away tokens may be made and adapted in myriad of ways from these pre-cut shapes while at the same time, through the simple act of touch, an opportunity is presented to gain an understanding of a very broad spectrum of material and surface finishes.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase a small selection of non-commercial, one off and unique pieces as well as a selection of small gifting items.

Dates: 11-14 November

Times: 14:00 - 17:00

As our studio spaces are limited and to avoid overcrowding we have set up a booking schedule for each day with 30 minute sessions so that visitors can enjoy their time visiting the studios.
