Delivered in partnership with Foróige, this training equips participants with video production and animation skills to engage young people in the exciting ReelLIFE SCIENCE competition.
About ReelLIFE SCIENCE
ReelLIFE SCIENCE is a unique video/animation competition that inspires young people to creatively explore STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) topics. Participants produce entertaining and educational 1-3 minute videos on a STEM subject of their choice, whether it’s a new discovery or a topic they’re passionate about, such as environmental or technological projects.
Why Participate?
- Skills Development: Enhance digital and communication skills.
- Prizes: €1,000 for the best video in the Youth Group category, with €500 for 2nd place and €250 for 3rd place.
- Recognition: Winning videos will be showcased at the Galway Science and Technology Festival.

No fancy equipment needed—videos can be made using smartphones, cameras, or tablets in English or Irish.
