RAPEH CIRCLE

Rume Reshke (Rapé): A fine powder made from tobacco combined with a mixture of tree bark, herbs, and other plants. Applied to the nose using techniques taught by the guardians on the day of the ceremony, Rapé offers the benefit of treating respiratory issues such as sinusitis, rhinitis, and even migraines. It also provides firmness, grounding, concentration, and potent energetic cleansing. During this moment of concentration, unique prayers and chants are performed, either in voice alone or accompanied by the sounds of guitars, drums, and maracas. These are offered by sacred beings called Yuxibus. These enchanted beings have the power to embody themselves in every part of the planet, such as the sky, the earth, the sea, and the forests, allowing us to invoke their spiritual wisdom. Through the wisdom and rituals of the Yuxibus, humans can relate to everything manifested by the Creator. Consecrating medicines that originate directly from the ancestral source of nature is a transformative experience.

Please bring your own cushion / matt/ blanket if needed and toilet roll and large bowl plastic only / small bucket/ basin ( if you do not have please let us know)& drinking water reusable bottle.

HÃPAYA RITUAL

Embedded in the heart of Huni Kuin culture, the Hãpaya ritual stands as a deeply sacred practice. Baptism unfolds through solemn prayers, traditional chants, and a maceration of bird pepper (yutxi).

This mixture is delicately administered to the initiate's tongue, with the beak of the Txana bird—an adept imitator of the forest's diverse bird songs—serving as the conduit. Embedded in the heart of Huni Kuin culture, the Hãpaya ritual stands as a deeply sacred practice. Baptism unfolds through solemn prayers, traditional chants, and a maceration of bird pepper (yutxi). This ritual is a gateway to "open the song" and "ignite the memory" of the chanters, endowing them with the role of spokespeople for the myriad sounds of the forest, its prayers, and spirits. The Hãpaya ceremony primarily focuses on unblocking the throat chakra, which in turn enhances communication, expression, and the faculty of reasoning.

Following the consecration of Hãpaya, a prescribed dietary journey awaits, its intricate details to be unveiled on the day of the ceremony. This sacred undertaking symbolizes an exploration of both the self and the spiritual realm, guided by the wisdom and traditions of the Huni Kuin people.

Rapeh & Sananga 85euro 6.30pm - 9.30pm sharp ( this may run bit later Max 10 pm)

Kids are free & welcome (they do not receive medicines, they are part the community, healing energy & music.
