Purple Training 2025

Purple Training is an annual intervarsity conference organised by Maynooth Pride Society. The conference has been running since 2016, with the event being recognised for it's merit to the queer/trans students of academic institutions for promoting solidarity and community.

We'll have speakers on a variety of topics such as queer topics, activism and the climate as well as entertainment throughout the weekend. Accommodation tickets are available and dinner will be provided to everyone.

Purple training gives attendees an opportunity to learn about the lives of transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming people and the social issues they face while also allowing for students to learn about how they could take action to improve student life on campus.

If you have any accessibility concerns, contact us (pride@mulife.ie). For accommodation, the building has a lift, but the main door can be heavy, and rooms will be shared between two people. The building where events will happen is more accessible. 

(Please do bear in mind that we have attendees from all over the country so please try leave an accommodation space to those who cannot reasonably commute.)
