Shrem returns for a very special full-album play of Sade’s 4th LP, the 1992 “Love Deluxe”. The album, Sade’s sole record released throughout the 1990’s, produced 4 exceptional singles: “No Ordinary Love”, “Feel No Pain”, “Kiss Of Life” and “Cherish the Day”, all of which confidently stand out among Sade Adu and her band’s most slickly arranged songs to date, all the while remaining strong fan favourites.
While "Love Deluxe" remains true to the sophisti-pop and cool jazz roots, the record also flirts with the trip-hop, ambient and R&B soundscapes, in line with the early 90's trends.The album will be played loud, in its entirety, on the HiFi Hatchett Sound System for an immersive listening experience. Aside from this elegant LP, the night will also include a vinyl set curated especially for the occasion and focusing on all the other Sade eras, particularly the epic triptych of their 1980’s catalogue: "Diamond Life", "Promise" and "Stronger Than Pride".
Shrem promises to also incorporate a number of vinyl-only extended mixes and b-sides which remain digitally unreleased to this day.
