Painterly Collograph - 2 day course

This 2-day course explores the process of collograph using a painterly method. This is a highly adaptable process that has a very direct, painterly style which can easily be suited to landscape, figurative and abstract work. This workshop is suitable for both beginners and more advanced makers.

During the first day participants will be introduced to the process and begin to work on their own plates using a variety of mark-making tools. Carborundum paste is applied to polycarbonate sheets as a medium for holding the ink. During the second day participants will begin printing.

Cork Printmakers reserves the right to cancel a course with insufficient enrolment, and when this occurs any and all prepaid fees are refunded. Course times and places are not transferable. Cork Printmakers does not refund fees paid by participants who subsequently cancel their place.
