Our Blue World - Screening & Panel

As part of Dublin International Film Festival 2025, UCD invites you to a free screening of Our Blue World, a new documentary directed by Ruán Magan exploring humanity’s profound relationship with water.

This event will be held in UCD Trapdoor Theatre on Friday 28 February, 4:30-6:30pm. It will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr Sarah Comyn featuring:

Where is Trapdoor?

Trapdoor is located on the Lower Ground floor of the Newman Building, which is fully accessible by both lift and stairs. We recommend entering Newman via the main door at Blue Bird Coffee, and following the signs for Trapdoor downstairs.

Getting to UCD

Parking on the Belfield campus is limited, so we encourage you to use public transport where possible. Car parking in UCD is a mix of permit and vistor parking untill 5pm. After 5pm almost all car parks are available for free. Please see www.ucd.ie/estates/ourservices/commuting for details
