Public Rehearsed Reading of "One Woman and her Bitch" by William Lyons
The main characters are a Greek-Irish homeless woman, Diogeneia, her guard dog, Cerberus and Hermes the announcer and placard carrier.
The drama is a theatrical, anarchic and savoury dish of Aristophanes, Brecht and panto, with some singing and dancing for sauce. It has lots of wit and fun and provocation with some sharp political spice folded in.
