A bout this event:
S TEM Saturdays, an initiative by the CRAFT Maker Space at MIC, is back!. Initially consisting of three Saturdays in 2022, the workshops were a great success and will be continued throughout 2024/25. They aim to encourage and facilitate the development of the long term interests, understanding, knowledge and skills in STEM subjects among children.
The workshops promote the development of creativity and innovation through inquiry based problem solving lessons and activities.
STEM Saturdays supports formal and informal learning by providing opportunities for children to engage with STEM, promoting awareness and understanding of the importance and relevance of STEM to everyday life.
There are only 24 spots available, so you might be placed on the waiting list.
This free event will take place in the CRAFT Maker Space @ Newman Hall, in the John Henry Newman Campus of Mary Immaculate College which is off O'Connell Avenue
