We are delighted to invite you to the Spring NEARIMeet on 20th March 2024 which will be online.
Our special invited panel at this event includes Aimie Brennan (Marino Institute of Education, Dublin), Caitriona McDonagh (author & NEARI co-founder), Dane Stickney (Colorado University, Denver & author ) and Jane O'Connell (teacher & CARN Coordinating Group) and we would like to invite everyone who is interested in action research - especially in schools to come along and join us at this exciting event.
NEARI is a vibrant network for action researchers at all stages of their journey—from those just starting out to seasoned experts with years of experience. It is an independent, unfunded, and non-affiliated community created by members of Educational Action Research Ireland (www.eari.ie) to foster growth in action research scholarship and practice.
Designed for practitioners across all levels of education, NEARI is dedicated to helping its members critically reflect on their work, align their practice with core educational values, and continuously enhance their impact. Whether you're new to action research or a lifelong practitioner, NEARI provides a welcoming platform for sharing research stories, engaging in thoughtful discussions, and exchanging valuable resources.
NEARI connects action researchers within Ireland and with the broader global community, offering opportunities for personal and professional growth. The network comes together a few times a year for NEARIMeets, hosted by various institutions through the goodwill of members. These gatherings are a space for members to share their learning journeys, explore new ideas, and support one another.
