Mountain Biking SMRC Booking

Do you want to improve your Mountain Biking skills? Are you curious about the planning a day on the Ballyhoura Trails? Are you fit? Have you previous experience mountain biking?

Join us on our fun Mountain Bike expedition!

Note: Meeting at Ballyhoura Trailhead requires €5 (in coins) entrance fee to the Collite car park or a Coillte card.

Biking skills will be improved in a fun learning environment. Our passionate mountain bike instructors are there to answer any questions you may have.

We will look at how to plan for extended time on the mountains and how to keep yourself safe. This includes exploring navigation, weather, planning and equipment.

This activity includes a mountain bike, helmet and qualified instructors.

A minimum level of fitness/endurance is required to cycle in the hills for three hours.

If possible it is recommended to bring your own helmet due to Covid-19.

Social distancing and hand hygiene procedures will need to be followed.

Small group size so book early to avoid disappointment.

Participants need:

Small backpack

Raincoat, snacks/some food, water, a light fleece/top.

Prebooking is essential as there are a limited number of places.
