Mícheál Ó Raghallaigh: Traditional Irish Music Workshop on Concertina.

Come join us for a lively workshop with the talented musician Mícheál Ó Raghallaigh.

Based in Trim, Co. Meath, Mícheal Ó Raghallaigh comes from a musical family and is a household name within the traditional Irish music scene. Mícheál has performed with many groups including Providence and 3-time All-Ireland Ceili Band Champions, 'The Tain Ceili Band'.

He released his album ‘The Nervous Man’ in 2001 followed by ‘Inside Out’ in 2006. He has previously collaborated with Catherine McEvoy (flute), Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh (fiddle), as well as Danny O’Mahony (accordion).

Mícheal’s most recent recording has been a collaboration of concertina players to include Tim Collins, Pádraig Rynne, Caitlín Nic Gabhann & Edel Fox of the Irish Concertina Ensemble. Their album titled ‘Zero’ was released in 2015.
