What is padel?

Padel tennis is a racquet sport similar to tennis, played on a smaller, enclosed court. It uses solid paddles instead of strung racquets, and a spongy tennis ball. The game can be played in singles or doubles, with the objective of hitting the ball over a net, ensuring it lands within the opponent's side of the court. Walls are part of the playing area, and players can use them to bounce the ball. The rules are a mix of tennis and platform tennis.
