About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

As sensitive and business-critical data continues to spread from tightknit on-premises networks into the cloud and beyond, much of cyber security increasingly hinges on one factor: identity.

Microsoft Entra ID houses the tools organisations need to properly control and monitor their identity security, but as with many Microsoft solutions, mastering it is no mean feat.

You’re invited to join Threatscape for an intimate workshop at The Imperial War Museum Duxford for the latest insight into identity threats facing organisations across the globe, and the strategies for utilising Entra ID to ensure effective, continuous protection.

From our five-time award-winning Microsoft Security Practice, Microsoft MVP Ru Campbell will take attendees through:

· The most common MITRE ATT&CK techniques that lead to identity security compromise, including OAuth Compromise, password credential theft and more, with insight on best practice for defence.

· A deep dive into Adversary-In-The-Middle Attacks: the technologies used by threat actors, what to look out for, and practical steps to mitigate the threat.

· Insight into how Entra ID’s capabilities align with the framework of Conditional Access for Zero Trust, a persona-based strategy to help organisations target the right security controls to the right people.

· The keys to Entra ID defence, with an understanding of how approaches such as device compliance and phish-resistant authentication feed into a larger strategy of Conditional Access for identity security.

· A meaningful roadmap of corporate cyber security hygiene practices to guard against the majority of identity-focused cyber attacks.

· An overview of Overwatch for M365, the next generation of security posture management, from initial assessment through to ongoing proactive security optimisation.

Refreshments will be available from 9am, with the workshop beginning at 9.30am and hot breakfast served during. For those that care to join, a complimentary tour of the museum will also be conducted from 11.30am onwards.

Please note that completion of this registration form does not guarantee a place at this event. Attendance is free of charge, but restricted to senior IT and IT security employees of large end user organisations.
