What is EPALE?

EPALE (Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe) is a European, multilingual, open membership community dedicated to adult learning professionals. EPALE is funded by the Erasmus+ programme, and is a key part of the European Union’s strategy to provide more and better learning opportunities for all adults. The platform connects adult educators, trainers, guidance and support staff, researchers, academics, and policymakers by providing a peer to peer online community, a space to share knowledge and collaborate.

What does EPALE National Day involve?

Networking Opportunities: Connect with colleagues and experts from adult learning organisations accross Ireland, share insights and experiences that will inspire your work. Time will be dedicated to meet your fellow colleagues working in the sector.

Interactive Sessions: Participate in workshops, discussions, and presentations led by educators, learners, and policy-makers in adult education, exploring the latest challenges, and opportunities in the field. From creativity workshops to digital storytelling sessions, there will be something for everyone.

Resource Sharing: Discover the wealth of resources and opportunities relevant to adult learning practitioners, with opportunities to contribute your own experience to the EPALE community. Learn about the impact of Erasmus+ and how it could support your next project, and discover how to build inclusivity into your practice.

Community Building: Become part of Europe’s largest adult learning community, collaborating to support each other and strengthen the profession through shared knowledge and resources.
