Why are we doing launching this? Portlaoise doesn’t really have a startup community. Laois doesn’t really have a startup community. And if we’re being honest, there’s barely one in the surrounding counties either.
But that changes now.
This is event is brough to you in partnership with Vision 85.
The Laois Startup Network is about bringing founders, entrepreneurs, and startup-minded people together—to connect, to talk, and to build something bigger than ourselves.
This first gathering is about getting people in the room—no panels, no speakers, no rigid agenda. Just real conversations, connecting founders, and the start of something that could reshape the landscape for startups in this region.
Over time, as interest builds, we’ll introduce speakers, interviews, and Q&As—but at its core, this network will always be about connecting people who are building, growing, or supporting startups.
