About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours 30 minutes

Release stress in our body and mind through traditional Tibetan healing and yoga practices. Learn to touch our feelings directly and our life's energies will flow more freely, integrating our body, senses, breath, and mind. Simple movement and breathing exercises help us achieve stillness and a sense of wellbeing.
This monthly workshop/class based on Kum Nye Tibetan Relaxation, is an experiential offering, a chance to take a time out from everyday stress and connect with the body. It is an opportunity to open the senses, calm the mind and connect more deeply with the ground in ourselves
We will reference Kum Nye texts such as Kum Nye Tibetan Yoga; Joy of Being; and Kum Nye Dancing to come more deeply in touch with the rhythm of our own Flow.

We will use

  • Movement
  • Postures
  • Breath
  • Self-massage and
  • Stillness/meditation to deepen our experience.
