Have Your Cake and Eat It! This playful and hands-on art workshop is perfect for kids (9+) who love to create and explore new techniques. Using gelli printing and collage, they’ll design their own colorful, festive cakes—layer by layer—while having fun with textures, stencils, and bright acrylic paints.
In the first session, kids will experiment with gelli plates, paint rollers, and a variety of recycled materials to make unique prints. They’ll discover how different tools and layering techniques create surprising and exciting results. In the second session, they’ll cut and assemble their prints into vibrant cake-themed collages, turning them into birthday cards or framed artwork.
The workshop is designed to be fun, pressure-free, and full of creative discovery. With happy, uplifting music in the background and a light, celebratory atmosphere, kids can enjoy making art while also sharing what makes them happy.
This workshop is great for beginners and kids who enjoy hands-on activities. It’s also perfect for those who like to work at their own pace, with plenty of encouragement and space to explore.
A fun and relaxed way to try a new technique, meet new friends, and take home something special! More details and booking options can be found on the workshop page.
