RPD is a dance game brought together by k-pop fans from all over the world where you run into the centre once you know the choreography of the song being played !

How does K-Pop Random Dance Play work?

At the beginning of the event, all the participants line up around an empty area, then, a music mix starts playing. If you hear a song that you know the choreography to - you run into the middle of the empty area and start dancing that song's choreography!

What part of the k-pop choregraphy would I need to know to join the K-Pop Random Dance Play?

Accepted Answer

The music mix contains the chorus segment of a given k-pop song, and sometimes, even a dance break of a very popular k-pop song. Not only that, but a few seconds of the pre-chorus is played for the participants to recognise the song and have enough time to run into the centre.

How can I self-learn a k-pop choreography?

Accepted Answer

K-pop groups are excellent at providing us with dance practice videos, but before you go and learn off of the original videos - you need to get yourself a 'MIRRORED' version - this will ensure that you dance in sync with all the other participants!

How long is a K-Pop Random Dance Play mix?

Accepted Answer

Due to demand, mixes are about one hour and twenty minutes long (including breaks). Please make sure to bring enough water to stay hydrated throughout the event!
