Turfboy

Colin Kelly- Vocals/guitar

León Ó Gríofa- Bass

Conor Walls- Guitar/vocals

Ollie Mortimer- Drums

Formed in November 2012, by Colin Kelly, Ollie Mortimer and Tony Carberry, out of a mutual love for 90's alternative music... January of 2013 saw the trio joined by guitarist, Conor Walls, and immediately, more than ever before, the band could feel that they were on to something special. In late 2014, Tony left the band and was succeeded by León, formally of 24 Broken Amps. They've been wrecking the gaff ever since.

Bad Mothers Union

Bad Mothers Union was established in Kilkenny in 2003. They released their debut single, ‘Fun For Five Year Olds’ three years later. In 2008, US subprime mortgage delinquency rates exceeded 21%, causing mortgage-backed securities tied to real estate to plummet in their value. On September 15, Lehman-Brothers declared bankruptcy. Bad Mothers Union dissolved that same year. In 2023, they reformed.
Bad Mothers Union currently has a bassist retention rate of 40%.
