John Spillane is a versatile musician and songwriter from Cork, known for his captivating performances and storytelling artistry. His music, blending Irish traditional sounds with contemporary influences, resonates across genres and generations. He enchants audiences worldwide with a unique vocal style and an ability to mix poignant poetry with humor.
A two-time Meteor Award winner for Best Folk/Trad act, Spillane debuted in 1997 with The Wells of the World and has released twelve albums since. His latest, 100 Snow White Horses, marks his first independent release in 20 years. In October 2022, he also launched In Another Light, a live album recorded at the Right Here Right Now Festival.
