The annual John McGahern Commemorative Evening event will feature 2024 John McGahern Annual Book Prize winner Michael Magee (Close To Home), 2023 McGahern winner Aingeala Flannery (The Amusements), and 2025 DCU Writer In Residence Sarah Gilmartin (Dinner Party).

The three authors will read extracts from their work, and take part in a panel discussion and Q&A. Introductions and chaired by Darran McCann (DCU School of English)
