We an back on 26th April with the one and only Joe Rooney headling and support on the night is outstanding. Kyle Lucey is flying in from Canada and taking a break from his European Tour to pop out to Celbridge, Ashlee Bentley has just finished touring with Ed Byrne as his support act, and Robbie Wild and Madeleine Munford are two of best up and coming acts on the Irish Comedy scene. No one does nights like The Comedy Lounge! Doors open at 7.30 and the show starts at 8pm!

Joe Rooney is a stand up comedian, actor, screenwriter, musician and podcaster. Although performing is his bread and butter he is currently studying a Multimedia degree course in DCU and aims to diversify into documentary and film making. He is best known for his role as Father Damo in Father Ted and his role as Timmy in the long running RTE sitcom Killinaskully. He also wrote on two seasons of Killinaskully.

In the last 20 years Joe has performed stand up comedy from Moscow to Muscat and everywhere in between. He has brought his stand up shows to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Glastonbury Festival and Kansas City Irish Festival as well as a host of festivals in Ireland.

Kyle Lucey is an international headlining comedian and a staple in Canadian comedy. He is the star of TV shows such as AHC’s Blood and Fury, Discovery Channel’s Fear Thy Neighbour, Discovery Channel’s Motive and Murders, and MTV’s Losing It. His debut comedy album Damaged Goods is now streaming on Sirius XM radio. He has 43k followers on Instagram with millions of views online.

Kyle has played notable venues such as Massey hall and CAA Theatre in Canada, Hot Water Comedy Club in England and Latter in Norway. He is a headliner in 6 counties and is signed to Canada’s largest talent agency for stand-up comedy, Yuk Yuks & Funny Business INC. He has been nominated for the I Heart Jokes Awards twice. He recently recorded a taping for Russell Peters’ LMFAO Platform and his debut comedy special, “Damaged Goods” is now streaming on Sirius XM.

Ashlee Bentley is described by many as one of the most talented and original up and coming young comedians in Ireland today, Ashlee’s unique blend of quirky humour, sharp writing and brutally honest yet hilarious personal tales have left audience members in tears all over Ireland and beyond. Most of them were crying with laughter but we can’t be sure about all of them. Ashlee has provided tour support for Ed Byrne, Fern Brady, Iliza Shlesinger, Olga Koch and Kevin McGahern.

Ashlee was crowned winner of the 2016 Show Me The Funny Competition and in 2017 won the Ireland Regional Final of Funny Women. Recently Ashlee has performed on Virgin Media TV on The Craic Den Comedy Club TV show and performed at Iveagh Gardens Comedy Festival. Ashlee likes long walks on the beach and will not rest until she has petted all of the cats.

Robbie Wilde, wandering the ragged edges of the Irish comedy scene. Bleeds ink, sweats punchlines, and returns to rivers between sets. One foot in the absurd, the other dangling off the ledge of polite society. Scarecrows whisper his name—art freaks nod in solemn approval.

Born screaming, kept laughing. Probably haunted. Don’t trust him—watch him.

Madeleine Munford is a Dublin based stand-up comedian, actress, and podcaster. Madeleine is a regular on the Dublin comedy scene and has performed internationally at the Leicester Comedy Festival, Glasgow International Comedy Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with various shows, including compilation shows, “Comediocre,” and “Late Night Benders,” along with her solo show, “Stand-up, Look Pretty.”
