A independent Irish spirits tasting highlighting some of the most exciting brands and producers on the island. Enjoy as our passionate experts from the BAR 1661 team take you on a guided journey through through the history (and future) of Irish distillation paired with 2 Irish poitíns, (an illicit white Irish spirit and the precursor to modern whiskey) and three modern Irish Whiskey’s who’s unique styles in-turn make up our most famous spirited export, blended Irish Whiskey.
As cocktail specialists your tasting will be paired with a selection of award winning cocktails from our next door bar. With a few 1:1 tips from our barteam on how to perfect the Irish Coffee!
Each guest will receive two BAR 1661 cocktails and 5 whiskey/ poitín drams.
