On the 16th March, we are launching the Irish Stout Museum in a pop-up exhibition upstairs in the Roundy.
Hosted by Adam O'Brien, who will do a guided tour through an exhibition that outlines the historical, cultural and societal impacts of stout in Ireland - covering everything from how it was made in the 1700's to modern meme culture. There will be a small collection of items and books related to stout to peruse also.
There will be a focus on the purpose of building the museum and why, the goals and the future of the venture.
Tours will be approx. 20 mins, and €5 per person.
Grab a pint downstairs, join us to explore stout and give feedback on the venture.
Feel free to peruse after the guided tour if you just want to have a gander.
