What to expect on the day?
BEFORE ENTERING THE VENUE
Check-in for students graduating will be open from 12pm and will close at 1.45pm. You are expected to be in your assigned seat by 2pm.
You are expected to arrive at the front of the RDS (Concert Hall/Hall 7) (Merrion Road Entrance): https://www.rds.ie/getting-here#location
We strongly advise that graduands arrive as early as possible. It is imperative that you arrive with ample time before registration closes at 1.45PM closes to give you time to socialise and take pictures with your classmates and loved ones.
Your guest(s) must arrive by 2:30PM, they must also check in at the reception desk.
Your guest(s) will need to show their Eventbrite ticket on arrival. (It does not need to be printed). They will have a separate queue.
INSIDE THE VENUE:
After check-in you will be guided to where you can collect your robe and have your graduation portrait taken with Callaghan Robe Makers taken, you are expected to prebook this as per your invite email.
Your seat is reserved with your name.
You must be seated by 2PM and remain in your assigned seat as our staff members need to verify your place in the running order before the ceremony begins.
Guests can sit in the guest section at the back of the venue unless a seat is reserved.
Photography will take place throughout the event.
