About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours

The AppHappy project is funded by the Department of Justice through Outcomers LGBTQ+ support group in Dundalk.

The project consists of a nationwide survey and 8 nationwide workshops for young gay/bi/msm on the safe use of hook-up apps.

The nationwide survey was completed in 2023 and informed the contents of the workshop, which are now being rolled out nationwide.

The workshop is a one-day workshop, from 10am-4pm. The morning session explores mental health and well-being, focussing on topics such as identity, belonging, the impact of queer developmental trauma and boundaries. The afternoon session explores sexual health and well-being and legal issues such as reporting.
