The aim of the Go for Life Games is to involve older people in recreational sport. The emphasis of the Games is on participation and fun – played in a non-competitive way – with all participants encouraged to umpire their own game.
Drop in any time between 11am and 1pm and try your hand at -
Malai - A throwing game is an adapted from corn hole. Where you throw sandbag at a target.
Scidil - A form of bowling and Skittles where 2 players play each other. They bowl a ball and try knock down a pin.
Flisk - A throwing game that you throw a small disk and try and get it as close as possible to a target.
Boccia - A target game where one player throws a Jack then taking it in turns throw a red or blue ball to get as close to Jack as possible until all the balls are thrown.
