Global Village Teach Meet 2025

NOTE: This is a free event and the cost of substitute cover is provided for all attending teachers.

Global Village is delighted to invite primary school teachers across Ireland to participate in a dynamic and engaging Global Citizenship Education (GCE) themed Teach Meet event, ‘Global Citizenship in Action: Guiding Primary Educators through Controversial Issues’.

This event is designed to empower educators with the knowledge and tools necessary to navigate the complexities of Global Citizenship Education in today's challenging landscape.

With a focus on the growing need to address controversial issues in the classroom, this event will provide a collaborative platform for teachers to share experiences, strategies, and good practices.

Participants will engage in interactive workshops and discussions aimed at fostering critical thinking, promoting inclusivity, and equipping students to become active, informed global citizens. The event will be a blend of workshops and short presentations from a variety of NGOs and GCE practitioners followed by a resource fair.
