Welcome to the Free Plarn (Plastic Yarn) Making Workshop by Ballymun artist Jen Harrington! Join us on Wed Feb 19 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Axis Art Centre and Theatre for a fun and eco-friendly crafting experience. Learn how to turn plastic bags into yarn and create unique and sustainable projects. No experience necessary, just bring your enthusiasm and creativity! Let's reduce waste together and make something beautiful out of plastic.


Jen is one of the Ballymun is Brilliant Bursary artists and this workshop is part of her project that she will be showcasing on Better Ballymun Day

Ballymun is Brilliant is funded by the Government’s Creative Climate Action Fund and is built on a partnership between three organisations with strong roots supporting the community in Ballymun: Axis Ballymun, Global Action Plan and the Rediscovery Centre. The project runs until the end of 2025.
