The art project Framing the Beach is designed to celebrate Cruinniú na nÓg national day of free creativity for children and young people.
Framing the Beach project is designed for children aged 8-12.
Children will meet at Renmore Beach(Ballyloughane Beach) and explore the natural environment of the beach, collecting treasures as rocks, seashells, and seaweeds.
The next workshop takes place at Cumasu Dougishka. The children will be split into two groups: A and B. Each group will attend a workshop at a designated time.
Key dates:
17th May, 11am-1pm –Ballyloughane Beach, Renmore Groups A and B (weather permitted)
24thMay, 2-4:30pm art workshop at Cumasu, DoughiskaH91 DKF7 (group A)
31stMay, 2-4:30 pm art workshop, Cumasu, Doughiska, H91DKF7 (group B)
All artworks (groups A i B)will be exhibited during Cruinniú na nÓg festival, on the 7th June, Fr. Burke Park, Father Griffin Road!
