Dublin city Sport & Wellbeing partnership in conjunction with Athletics Ireland are introducing a 5-week Couch to 5k Walk / Jog / Run Programme tailored to help complete beginners and people looking to get back into physical activity.
If you are motivated by those doing the Dublin Marathon then here is a great start.
It is a simple programme that begins with more walking and jogging, and gradually evolves into more jogging and running.
No fitness levels are required to take part, just a commitment to completing 1 session per week for the duration of the programme.
The programme will Run for 5 Tuesdays outside Fr.Collins Park at 7pm. Meet at the entrance beside Trinity Donaghmede Football Club.
Tuesday 29th October, 5th November, 12th November, 19th November, 26th November.
The first session on the 29th October is FREE!
It is €10 in total for the other 4 sessions.
