The homecoming from far and near to gather around the fire to prepare for Samhain our Celtic festival of death and dying. We the living celebrate our lives and those of our dearly beloved. The Kerry Homecoming Festival at Halloween takes place from 18th October to 1st November 2024 as part of the Global Irish Festival Series. The Festival is a truly unique opportunity for the thousands of Kerry people around the world to make the trip home and celebrate the culture of their home county, uncover shared histories and forge new, lasting connections.

The festival is supported by Fáilte Ireland and the Department of Foreign Affairs, to deliver a festival to encourage Kerry’s diaspora to visit during the festival and reconnect to their communities.
