“Viaggi di nozze” is a 1995 film by Carlo Verdone which marks a return to the episodic film structure that launched the director and actor’s career with his first two feature films ‘Un sacco bello’ and ‘Bianco, Rosso e Verdone’. The film follows, intertwined together, the adventures of three couples of newlyweds, from their wedding to their honeymoon: Raniero and Fosca, Giovannino and Valeriana, Ivano and Jessica. Each of them is an example of a couple’s way of living, with their own flaws and idiosyncrasies.
A comic and melancholic journey, like most of Carlo Verdone’s films.
