The Federation of International Banks in Ireland (FIBI), which is affiliated to Banking & Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI), will host its flagship annual conference ‘International Banking: Looking forward after a year of elections’ from 09:00 – 13.00 on Wednesday 20th November in The College Green Hotel (formerly Westin Hotel), Dublin.
Key speakers on the day will include José Manuel Campa, Chairperson, European Banking Authority; Fernando Vicario, FIBI Chair and Chief Executive Officer, Bank of America Europe DAC and Country Executive for Ireland; Vasileios Madouros, Deputy Governor, Monetary and Financial Stability, Central Bank of Ireland; Martin Merlin, Director, Financial Markets, DG FISMA, European Commission; Fiona Gallagher, Chief Executive Officer, Wells Fargo Bank International and Nicola Vavasour, Chief Executive Officer, Scotiabank (Ireland) DAC.
Following a dramatic week in the US which will see the return of the Trump administration, polling day now finally set here at home and a new EU Commission being established with a refreshed mandate, join us as we discuss the changing geopolitical landscape and the evolving regulatory climate, and assess the impact on international banks operating in Ireland.
Over a series of keynote speeches, panel discussions and fireside chats, our expert line up of speakers and panellists will explore what is at the front of C-suite minds, address EU competitiveness in a global market, the economic outlook following a year of elections and an in-depth discussion on the regulatory horizon.
