Etching Weekend Course

This course will explore the traditional and experimental etching process. You will learn a variety of techniques for creating interesting textures in copper plate etching. The course will cover aquatint, sugarlift and a variety of different tools and materials. Participants learn how to, use tools and techniques for creative plate making, prepare materials and ink, and print multiple prints. Participants finish the course having produced a series of prints.

Cork Printmakers reserves the right to cancel any course with insufficient enrolment, and when this occurs any and all prepaid fees will be refunded. Cork Printmakers does not refund fees paid by participants who subsequently cancel their place in a course.
