Drawing from Life: Exploring Form and Movement (For Adults)

Saturday 17 May 2025, 2-4pm

Discover the art of life drawing with artist Ashleigh Downey in the atmospheric Sculpture Hall. This adult workshop will combine drawing from a clothed live model with inspiration drawn from Francis Bacon’s dynamic figurative paintings and other masterpieces in the Gallery. Participants will engage in line drawing, movement studies, and a variety of observation exercises to deepen their skills and creativity. Suitable for all levels, from beginners to experienced artists in celebration of National Drawing Day.
