This free Disability Equality Training is open to all, aiming to promote awareness and inclusivity of disabilities in the workplace. The WorkAbility Programme is hosting this training by The Disability Federation of Ireland to award attendees with a CPD certification (usually worth €850 per organisation).
Training Objectives
- Obtain knowledge of the various theoretical models of disability
- Learn about disability in Irish legislation
- Identify the appropriate language and behaviour when engaging with a disabled person
- Demonstrate knowledge of supports you can implement for people with disabilities.
- Apply this knowledge in the workplace/community to become a more inclusive and accessible organisation/business.
